A Tad More On Traffic Swarm

Here are a couple of other points about which allow it to stand apart from the other .

It has been suggested that Traffic Swarm makes a great split-testing platform for adverts that you are considering using with . At first I thought this was a good idea but lately I’ve begun to think again.

The market on Traffic Swarm is, not surprisingly, typical of the market of most traffic exchanges. Most of them are inhabited by people trying to sell something. on the other hand is very different. So using Traffic Swarm to decide which of your adverts is best for Google Adwords may lead to expensive failure.

However, what about forum signature files? We all know of the benefits of posting good content on forums in order to build trust and credibility, as well as permanent in-bound links. Ooh! And what about the added benefit of learning more and becoming an expert, too?

Forums are very often populated by people who also frequent the Traffic Exchanges and so using Traffic Swarm for split testing your signature file is, in my view, a better idea. How do you do this?

As a free member with Traffic Swarm, you are allowed up to 10 different adverts. This means ten different headlines and ten different versions of advert bodycopy. Make use of them all.

In choosing Traffic Swarm categories, try using the maximum of three categories for each advert. For example, Advert 1 with categories 1,2 and 3. Advert 2 with categories 4, 5 and 6, etc. Obviously you will have some overlap on categories because there are only 16 categories. But don’t worry about that.

Once you’ve set up your adverts they will need to be approved and this can take a day or so, so build your reserve of credits while you wait.

If you are new to Traffic swarm and haven’t built up a reserve of credits, start clicking and try and generate 200 credits each day. I’ll explain why in a minute.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Traffic Swarm resets your daily hits to zero at midnight EST. So daily, log in to Traffic Swarm a few minutes before that deadline and note down the number of hits each of your adverts has generated.

I live in the United Kingdom and I have to be up at 6.30am each work day, so I need to get to sleep at about 10.30pm local time. This means 7.30pm EST, so I am not able to get the full data, but I still use the data I have available.

At the end of a week, you will have an excellent idea of which advert is consistently the best. Use that advert as your signature file in the forums.

A friend asked me, “How do you know when you’ve generated 200 credits?”

What I do is note down the number of credits I have in reserve when I am about to start clicking. I add 200 credits to that number to get the days’ target and I keep clicking until the number of credits shown at the top of my Traffic Swarm pages meets that target.

Do this daily and keep going with the 200 per day until your target is 3,100. You don’t need any more. Then each day, do sufficient clicks to reach the 3,100 target. For example, this morning I had 2,977 credit showing on my Traffic Swarm surf page. All I had to do was click enough sites to bring the credits up to 3,100 - took about half-an-hour. I actually finished with about 3,104. Keeping the target figure at 3,100 and doing enough clicks daily to reach that target will generate about 100 hits a day to your website with 10 active adverts running.

This post is becoming an extensive one, yet again, :D so I shall end here.

I hope this helps,
