Almost every home based business uses some form of affiliate program - single level or multi-level. Either you have your own product and run your own affiliate program, or you become an affiliate within someone else’s program and sell their products.

Yes, I’m afraid so. Just a small bit though.

Imagine that you are able to distribute fliers through letterboxes, or place drop cards at ATM’s, just to name a couple of the off-line methods used to attract inquiries. How do you measure the effectiveness of what you are doing?

If we take a look at the Direct Response industry - often better known as mail order, very often the response rates of ½% to 1½% is typical. I understand that a campaign returning less than ½% is deemed a failure and any campaign returning better than 1½% is terrific.

At the time of writing the previous posts on Traffic Swarm I read in a forum post that someone had sponsored 700 members into Traffic Swarm. Only 10 of them had upgraded to Pro level.

Here are a couple of other points about Traffic Swarm which allow it to stand apart from the other Traffic Exchangess.

It has been suggested that Traffic Swarm makes a great split-testing platform for adverts that you are considering using with Google Adwords. At first I thought this was a good idea but lately I’ve begun to think again.

The market on Traffic Swarm is, not surprisingly, typical of the market of most traffic exchanges. Most of them are inhabited by people trying to sell something. Google on the other hand is very different. So using Traffic Swarm to decide which of your adverts is best for Google Adwords may lead to expensive failure.

I often read posts on forums relating to upgrading in Traffic Swarm. It’s actually a good question but it is only possible to be answered by the individual asking the question, which of course undermines the purpose of this blog because I’m not exactly being helpful, am I?
