Traffic Swarm - Oh No! Not again!

Yes, I’m afraid so. Just a small bit though. ;)

Imagine that you are able to distribute fliers through letterboxes, or place drop cards at ATM’s, just to name a couple of the off-line methods used to attract inquiries. How do you measure the effectiveness of what you are doing?

If we take a look at the - often better known as , very often the response rates of ½% to 1½% is typical. I understand that a campaign returning less than ½% is deemed a failure and any campaign returning better than 1½% is terrific.

At the time of writing the previous posts on Traffic Swarm I read in a forum post that someone had sponsored 700 members into Traffic Swarm. Only 10 of them had upgraded to Pro level.

How does that look to you? Not too good I suspect, but do the maths. Read more »

A Tad More On Traffic Swarm

It has been suggested that Traffic Swarm makes a great split-testing platform for adverts that you are considering using with . At first I thought this was a good idea but lately I’ve begun to think again.

How’s this for an idea? - A bit of a marathon post - this one.

There are fairly well supported statistics that indicate that…

  • only 5% of people in will be successful to any measurable degree
  • That means 95% will will not be successful - sorry to state the obvious :)
  • The 5% who succeed will do so, generally with, or without your help.

I understand that the 80/20 rule plays a part in that 80 out of 100 people who join network marketing will fail anyway. They tend to say, “just wasn’t for me!” I believe that they were recruited by inappropriate - not deliberately inappropriate, but inappropriate just the same.

With these 80 out of 100, nothing you do will keep them in and any time you spend on them will be wasted. They make up 80%, so you could save 80% of your time by not dealing with them.

So now we have 5% who will be successful ANYWAY, 80% who will fail ANYWAY. That leaves 15. What about them? Read more »
